ITSS 2021: International Workshop on the Internet of Things and Smart Services
While industries and corporations have acknowledged the importance of Web 2.0 and started integrating Web 2.0 in their business processes, they have made only limited contributions to the burgeoning knowledge in Web 3.0. Over the last decade, various technologies have moved to the qualitatively new phase of development. Mobile wireless communications, new data retrieval and new data processing techniques have been introduced. All of that with the Internet of Everything paradigm and customer-centric approach formed a new concept of the Smart Services. Smart Services concept means that soon we might have fully globalized services that would allow business to transform according to a new step of globalization considering customer-centric approach and digital economy based on data. Pandemic situation showed us how important Smart Services are in terms of supporting us in our everyday activities.
ITSS 2021 is an international workshop on advances in theory, applications and different approaches to using IoT and Smart Services. This workshop is about business transformation due to digital economy implementation and about new types of services and innovative business models stemming from the high impact of IoT and data-based services as the next step in globalization including new strategy and recommendations on Digital Economy by WEF.

TEAR 2021: 16th Trends in Enterprise Architecture Research Workshop
Since 2006 the international TEAR workshop series has brought together Enterprise Architecture (EA) researchers and practitioners from different research communities, and has provided a forum to present EA research results from academia and practice and to discuss future EA research directions. This year’s TEAR workshop will see a new online format, while addressing new frontiers in EA-related research.
The field of Enterprise Architecture (EA) has gained considerable maturity over the last years. EA significantly contributes to organizations’ need to adapt increasingly fast to changing customer requirements and business goals. New societal and technological (including AI, IoT, Digital Twins, etc) trends now provide new challenges and opportunities to the field of EA. What remains core to EA is the need for a multi-disciplinary approach aiming for a coherent design of enterprises across all relevant aspects, such as services, processes, IT support, the role of human actors, etc. Therefore, there is a need to consider new frontiers in EA research, taking us into the direction of what might be termed “Enterprise Governance 4.0”. Therefore this year’s TEAR workshop has a broadened scope, including several new topics: enterprise governance 4.0, enterprise cyber risk management, digital transformation, enterprise architecture decision-making and decision-execution, Enterprise architecture modeling and analysis, relevant research approaches in terms of research methodologies and theories, and cases and implementations

VEnMo 2021: 3rd Workshop on Value and Quality of Enterprise Modelling
In computer science and information systems development, Enterprise Modelling (EM) is used for different purposes, like representing requirements, visualizing established work processes, specifying system design, expressing information structures, formalizing the relationships between organizational structures and IT landscapes and many more. Despite this large spectrum of modeling purposes and use cases, the value of modelling in general and of Enterprise Models in particular is still subject of research.
The 3rd VEnMo Workshop invites researchers and practitioners with strong interest in the value of Enterprise Modelling to discuss approaches and experiences in measuring, assessing, evaluating, and improving the value of enterprise related models like Enterprise Models, Enterprise Architecture Models, or Business Process Models. While it is common sense that EM adds value to organizations, existing research is still vague regarding how this value manifests. Therefore, the workshop aims to shed light on existing as well as new theories, concepts and frameworks for describing, understanding and measuring the added value of EM.
One important aspect in this context may be the quality of EM, as only models of an adequate quality with respect to their intended purpose allow organizations to exploit the full value of EM. Therefore, the workshop further encourages researchers or practitioners to report on insights or approaches how to assess the quality of enterprise models. However, we support a broad interpretation of the topics “value” and “quality” and encourage submissions also in related areas.
